Stocktake Scanner - Android Touch Screen

The "Stocktake Scanner - Android Touch Screen" is a portable and ruggedised data entry unit with a built-in barcode scanner. It also comes standard with WIFI capability so it can always stay connected to your in-store POS System as you roam the store or warehouse floor.

This unit comes with Access POS developed software that is designed to achieve the following functions: Price Check, Stocktake, Sales Mode

The "Stocktake Scanner - Android Touch Screen" has a seamless interface with the Access POS Software: Retail POS Systems, Restaurant POS Systems, Newsagency POS Systems & Multi Store Retail POS Systems

Price Check: Allows you to scan items on the shop or warehouse floor to check the selling pricing that is set in the POS System. Apart from administrative benefits it is often used as an anti-fraud measure. ie shop managers changing retail prices in the main POS System for their own temporary benefit

Stocktake: Stocktaking is performed by scanning an item off the shelf (or shelf label) then entering a count quantity. You can also manually enter a product I.D or barcode. Data is then uploaded to your POS System. The data can then be imported into your POS Software which in-turn updates your stock-on-hand figures.

Stock Deliveries: Updating inventory levels can be done by scanning products as they are delivered by your supplier. You simply scan one of a particular item type then enter the total quantity received. Once you have completed recording the entire delivery your POS Software can be updated with the additional stock items and quantities.

Sales Mode: When using "Sales Mode" you have a virtual POS terminal in the palm of your hand. It is particularly useful in certain industries where customers are sold bulky or difficult items to bring to the shop sales counter. eg. a plant nursery, warehouse style business, white goods etc. Each sale can have a name assigned which then allows an unlimited number of customers to have their orders saved for later uploading to the POS system. ie. you walk the shop floor with the customer scanning or entering items as they are sold. You then select "upload" on the device which transmits the sale information to the POS System via WIFI. You can then finalise the sale transaction at the POS terminal in the normal manner without the need of bringing all the sold items to the sales counter
