POS Combination Scale & Scanner

The POS Combination Scale & Scanner can either be interfaced to a compatible POS Cash Register or Point of Sale System. It is a very heavy duty scale designed for high volume establishments. eg. Supermarkets, Convenience and Fruit & Vegetable Stores.

When the POS Combination Scale & Scanner is interfaced to a POS Cash Register or POS System via the communications port, item(s) are simply placed on the scale platter to weigh. The relevant product button on the POS Cash Register or POS System is pressed which transfers the weight for price calculation. The POS Combination Scale & Scanner can either be interfaced to the Access POS Retail POS System or the Restaurant POS System.

The POS Combination Scale & Scanner is designed to be 'counter sunk' into your POS checkout.

Scale Certification:

A scale used in a retail environment must be inspected / certified prior to use. After which, a certification stamp is adhered to the scale. This ensures that the scale is correctly weighing items. This is required under consumer protection law. As an option, Access POS can organise this certification prior to delivering the scale to you.
