POS System training in Papua New Guinea

Our Access POS System installer has just returned from Goroka, Papua New Guinea (PNG) having completed training on the Convenience Store POS System supplied to Goroka Foodmart.

It was a great experience for our lucky chosen POS installer to visit the relatively remote Goroka and install our Retail POS System. His journey started in Sydney then to Brisbane then to Port Moresby then finally to Goroka. His week long stay enabled very thorough installation and training. He also had to inspect another major supermarket in Goroka to assess the POS equipment required for a future installation.

The proprietors of Goroka Foodmart were extremely happy with the service and installation provided from Access POS. They particularly commented on how quick their shop floor staff were able to learn the new POS System considering many had limited previous computer training and some had never seen a touch screen before.

The POS System consists of the following:

• Four POS terminals all with barcode scanning
• Back Office dedicated POS Server computer
• Back Office workstation computer which will also have a barcode scanner for data entry and a product label printer

Access POS has updated it's POS Software to allow for the currency of Papua New Guinea, Kina.
