USB Cash Drawer Trigger

The USB Cash Drawer Trigger is designed to provide USB interface to a standard POS printer fired cash drawer.

The USB Cash Drawer Trigger module uses a Virtual Serial Port Driver, making it appear to POS software as standard RS232 Serial Port. The POS Software can communicate with the USB Cash Drawer Trigger as though it was connected to a Serial / RS232 Port.

Where multiple cash drawers are required, a unique serial port number is assigned to each USB Cash Drawer Trigger Module within Microsoft Windows. The USB Cash Drawer Trigger module is only designed for Microsoft Windows. It is self installing when you first plug the unit into the USB port. Ie. no separate software driver is required.

The USB Cash Drawer Trigger will suit cash drawers that have a RJ11/12 Cash Drawer Interface / cable. (Telephone Port Style Connector)
