Access POS offers both Retail and Industrial grade Touch Screen Monitors.

Both these touch screen monitors can be integrated with an optional: Customer Display, Magnetic Card Reader, Smart Card Reader, Finger Print Sensor and Keypads and can be connected to any Windows based PC via either a USB or Serial port.

Touch Screen Monitor - Retail
A retail POS Touch Screen Monitor that is very versatile, compact, highly durable and of sleek design. It has a certified IP43 rating for dust and water resistance.

The definition of an IP43 rating is as follows: Dust - "Protected against solid objects over 1 mm" & Water - "Protected against direct sprays of water up to 60o from the vertical".

The Touch Screen Monitor - Retail comes with a VGA (standard monitor) cable as well as a USB and Serial cable for connection to any Windows based PC. Only one of either the USB or Serial cables needs to be used to enable the "touch" facility. Software drivers are provided.

Touch Screen Monitor - Industrial
An industrial POS Touch Screen Monitor that is built for the harshest of conditions, featuring an aluminum die cast casing and a ventless design. Ideal for harsh industrial and retail sites where liquid spills, dust and very harsh operating conditions are common. It has a certified IP66 rating for dust and water proof.

The definition of an IP66 rating is as follows: Dust - "Totally protected against dust" & Water - "Protected against temporary flooding of water, e.g. for use on ship decks - limited ingress permitted".

The Touch Screen Monitor - Industrial comes with a VGA (standard monitor) cable as well as a USB and Serial cable for connection to any Windows based PC. Only one of either the USB or Serial cables needs to be used to enable the "touch" facility. Software drivers are provided.
