Table Service or Quick Service

The core Aloha POS system can be ordered as either Table Service (Restaurants or Cafe's) or Quick Service (Fast Food, Bars etc). The difference between to two is primarily the POS user interface. Apart from this, the majority of POS functionality and back office reporting remain the same.

"Aloha POS - Table Service" offers a floor and table plan as the initial point of entry for your POS operator. You can either design the complete layout of the restaurant or cafe as one floor plan or break it up into sections EG. Bar area, Inside section and Outside section, just to name a few of the different scenarios that can be considered.

Different colours for occupied and unoccupied tables are used, as well as to differentiate tables that have been opened from one operator to another. It is these advanced table management features that give you the controls which allow you to run a successful business.

Order Processing

Order processing is made easy with Aloha's intuitive touch screen layouts and screen flow, with the added option of choosing between several graphical user interfaces. Extensive table management features are also offered further enhancing speed and service efficiency.

Simple guest check / item splitting and bar tab to table transfer functionality will certainly put smiles on your POS operators faces. Aloha also offers powerful food and beverage order printing with on-the-fly message ability, on screen recipe information, special pizza ordering functionality, item availability, employee training mode, gross profit analysis, numerous price levels that can be automatically changed by specific time or day (Great for automating a Sunday surcharge) and a whole lot more.

If your cashier terminal goes down then all sales and guest check data will be available on any other terminal within the system. All terminals can fully operate independently and there is no reliance on a back office file server.

Time Clock and Labour Rostering

Time clock and labour rostering are standard features in Aloha. Managers will be able to keep tight control over punctuality and labour cost. Managers can restrict employees from clocking in when not rostered or if outside a preset time range from their due rostered start time. Managers are also able to edit clock in/out times, apply pay rates, set overtime parameters, job codes etc. Rosters are easily created and copied from week to week and then modified accordingly.

It even allows multiple rostered weeks to be copied further saving you valuable time. For the more advanced users, Aloha offers a more detailed labour management module. It compares labour costs with budgets, forecasts labour requirements, provides charts and graphs, is customisable to fit company policies on hour limitations and has a complete database on employee skill levels, preferred shifts, requests etc.

Management Functions and Reporting

Management functions are in abundance with Aloha. Complete control over all functions, whether at the terminal or back office computer, is available. Aloha's comprehensive reporting package allows you to keep track of real-time sales results and other data. Aloha gives you the freedom to customise reports to your precise needs or choose from the numerous standard report templates. Custom reports can be generated using Seagate Crystal Reports ®, Microsoft ® Excel ®, or the report writer of your choice.

All of the above are standard features of the Aloha POS System. There are some optional software modules that can be added.
