Synopsis: NewsPOS, a Brisbane based Newsagency POS Software company, has recently announced that the business is shutting down which has left many of their customers very upset with the news, especially when being told that their current software will no longer be supported.

NewsPOS, a Brisbane based Newsagency POS Software company, although only a relatively late comer to the Newsagency POS Software industry, has announced that it has ceased trading and that their NewsPOS Newsagency Software will no longer be supported.

Although this has only been announced in recent days, Access POS has already taken numerous calls from upset NewsPOS customers feeling a sense of betrayal. They have been told that there has been no arrangement allowing for any support continuance, effectively meaning that their customers will need to purchase or install new Newsagency POS Software which will cause considerable disruption to their business. This is especially true in attempting to convert data stored within the NewsPOS Software. Eg. Home delivery, XchangeIT, Customer Account data etc

Access POS anticipates that this may not be the last of this type of news in the Newsagency POS Software industry space in the short to medium term as it is known that at least one other interstate company specialising in Newsagency POS Software has had their business for sale during 2011.

We welcome any enquiries from NewsPOS customers in relation to converting to the Access POS Newsagency Software. Contact Us
