Aloha POS Software - Customer Loyalty

Aloha POS Software - Customer Loyalty

Repeat business is the lifeblood of the hospitality industry. Many successful hospitality operators are turning to electronic frequency and loyalty programs to deliver targeted rewards and incentives that stimulate repeat business and increase store traffic.

The Aloha Customer Loyalty solution delivers flexible, customisable reward and bonus programs. It also allows your organisation to quickly design, roll-out and manage effective loyalty programs that will not only attract new customers, but turn your existing customer base into "ideal customers" who have the purchasing habits that will drive topline growth for your business.

Aloha Customer Loyalty is an industry-leading promotions and marketing solution tightly integrated with Aloha POS. Easily implemented, your customer loyalty programs can be managed effectively across various locations, while gathering important sale, profitability and customer history reports.

How it works

Aloha Customer Loyalty is a hosted solution, meaning it is web based and customer loyalty data is stored on secure servers located at NCR. You will receive your own web portal to administer your loyalty program. Your login page will look the same as this: https://accesspos.alohaenterprise.com/login.do but instead have your business name instead of "accesspos". You must have the Aloha POS system at your store(s). The Aloha POS system communicates directly with your web portal; activating loyalty cards, processing customer purchases and applying any loyalty redemptions / rewards.

Within your Aloha POS Customer Loyalty web portal there are many reports that can be produced which can either be viewed online or produced in excel or pdf form. Alerts can be setup that can be emailed to you which are triggered by predefined conditions. ie. a certain number of loyalty cards sold / activated, card spend levels, customer rewards levels etc

Initially, loyalty cards are instantaneously activated online via the Aloha POS System within your store. Your customers are then free to use their loyalty card at any of your stores. Your web portal has reporting that can reconcile revenues across your stores taking into consideration sales and redemptions / rewards that could occur at one store and fully paid transactions that have occurred at another.

Loyalty Plan Examples

The programs below can be used individually or stacked to create a variety of rewards for your guests.

  • Currency Based Plan: Spend $200, get a 10% discount on your next visit; alternately, spend $200 and get $20 loaded on your gift card as a reward. Why not offer your local sporting organisation that may have thousands of members a free loyalty card that offers a 15% off a certain category of menu items, or off all menu items for that matter
  • Items Based Plan: Buy 5 items, get the 6th free. Buy two qualifying menu items, get a free dessert, etc
  • Visits Based Plan: get a free entree or drink on your first, second, tenth, etc visit
  • Points Based Plan: Accumulate points based on targeted items. Redeem those points for merchandise, discounts etc
  • "Be my Guest" Plans: Target eligible items and control the comps and promos associated with them. For example, allow up to a $20 discount on any items on the menu, or allow the guest their choice of drinks (limit by item quantity or dollar value)
  • Lottery Based Plan: Give your guests a 1 in "x" chance of earning a discount, free item, grand prize, etc. Also useful for generating surveys to random guests. This can also be used for promoting new items (bring this receipt in on your next visit and receive a free dessert, etc)
  • Employee Meal Plan: Control and track what your employees are allowed to receive in terms of employee meals . Put them on a set spending limit (limit by $ amount, exclude alcoholic beverages, high cost menu items, etc). Plans can be configured to automatically reset on a daily / weekly / monthly basis.
  • Smart Rewards Plan: A Smart Rewards-based plan enables you to use historical data to determine the customers who will be eligible to receive a one-time reward upon their next visit to your restaurant. The type of reward and who is eligible to receive it is up to you. Scenario: You have a new menu and would like to entice loyalty cardholders who have not recently visited your restaurant to come in and try it out. You can create a Smart Rewards-based bonus plan to offer all cardholders who have not used their card within the last 30 days a $5.00 discount on their next visit.
