Synopsis: Have you heard of Ronald Gerald Wayne? He was one of the three co-founders of Apple Computer (now Apple Inc) with Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs. Find out why on this day (13 April) each year Ronald may feel somewhat depressed!

Ronald Gerald Wayne (born 17 May, 1934) founded Apple Computer (now Apple Inc.) on 1 April 1976 with Steve Wozniak and the late Steve Jobs and at the time held a 10% stake. Wayne relinguished his stock for US$800.00 less than two weeks later, on 13 April 1976.

Later that year, venture capitalist Arthur Rock and Mike Markkula helped develop a business plan and convert the partnership to a corporation. Wayne received a further payment of US$1,500 for his agreement to forfeit any claims against the new company, hence Wayne received a total of US$2300.00 for his share.

Had Ronald Gerald Wayne held his 10% share it would be worth approximately US$56, 500, 000, 000.00 (YES, that is US$56.5 Billion) as of today.
